Furnace Condensate Pump Replacement Cost in Vancouver

Why the Condensate Pump Matters
High-efficiency furnaces produce acidic condensate water during operation. If the furnace is below the drain level (basement), a condensate pump lifts the water to a drain. The pump has a float switch — if the pump fails and water backs up, the float switch shuts down the furnace.
Signs of Pump Failure
The pump runs but does not pump water, water is pooling around the furnace, the furnace keeps shutting off with a condensate-related error, the pump makes unusual noises (grinding, rattling), or the pump motor is completely silent when it should be running.
Replacement Cost and Service
Condensate pump replacement costs $200-400 including the pump ($80-150) and labour ($100-200). Most replacements are completed in under an hour. Same-day service is available for emergency pump failures. Our technicians carry replacement pumps for all common furnace brands.
